Responding to the terrorist attack in Auckland’s LynnMall, a nationwide virtual prayer vigil for peace and wellbeing will involve leaders from many faith communities tomorrow afternoon [Sunday 19 September].

MEDIA RELEASE: Wellington Interfaith Council wins global harmony prize
Members of the Wellington Interfaith Council are delighted to have their work acknowledged globally. The council's launch event in February was selected for the global King Abdullah II UN WIHW 2021 Prize, and won first place, from 133 applications for the 1,020 events held around the world.

Join the Wellington Interfaith Council at different places of worship around Wellington, and learn about the diversity of our people and faiths. Each visit will last 60-90 minutes.

Women in Faith Survey
The Wellington Interfaith Council (WIFC) has hosted women's conferences annually for the past three years.
Women and friends connected with the WIFC are encouraged to complete our online survey about this event to be held in May 2021.

Unveiling of bench seat at 51 commemorative native sapling site
Join the Wellington Interfaith Council for the unveiling of a bench seat at the 51 commemorative native sapling planted in Trelissick Park.
You are invited to observe a moment's silence at the site during 2.30pm - 4pm. The area where the trees are planted is a small space, so we will take groups of people at a time. Please gather at the entrance of Trelissick Park at 2.30pm.
