Invitation to a National Interfaith Online Hui

The Wellington Interfaith Council is hosting a hybrid online national forum for our community this year. We understand travel costs can be a barrier to in-person gatherings, so we're creating a unique way to connect.

Each regional council will host their own in-person meeting, simultaneously linking up online for a shared discussion (kaupapa). This allows local interfaith members to gather in a convenient location you arrange, connecting to a national screen and video.

Our Wellington Forum committee will open the session with a prayer and welcome, introducing a topic for discussion. For the next hour, your local group will facilitate an in-person conversation, during which you might offer refreshments. Afterwards, we'll all reconnect online for a feedback session, with each region sharing their key points for 5-10 minutes. We'll record these discussions and email a summary to all councils afterwards.

We propose Saturday, September 13, 2025. Please contact us for more information!
